Subsea Sensors

P480 & PX480
These pressure transmitters are designed for direct installation on subsea oil production manifolds to measure oil/gas process and water injection pressures. Manufactured from high corrosion resistant alloys to meet NACE and other requirements, the sensor and casing are of electron beam and T.I.G. welded construction, hyperbarically tested ensuring reliable operation to depths of 2500 metres with an operating life in excess of 25 years.
PTX480
Providing two measurements at one location, the PTX 480s design is based on the P480 series, but supplied with a flush pressure diaphragm situated adjacent to a temperature sensor at the end of a thermowell nose. Its high over range capability enables the manifold/tree to be pressure tested with the transmitter installed without damage to the pressure capsule, and the unit provides process containment system that is verified to 1035 bar on each unit during manufacture.
TX480
Available in two versions: integral or separate thermowells, the TX480 series temperature transmitter provides temperature measurement using a platinum resistance temperature sensor located within 5mm from the end of the probe. Meeting mandatory requirements, the unit provides a process containment system which is verified to 15,000 psi on each unit during manufacture.
